Plugs, Wires, & Cap

Just thought I would pick your brains while I am at.  My '83 T-Bird 5.0L will need a tune up.  It has a set of fouled Bosch platinum plugs in it.  What type of plugs, wires, and distributer cap & rotor are you guys running?  Performance is prefered over gas mileage, but both are important.  Thanks for the input.

Use the stock Motorcraft stuff. It's the best. You don't need platinum plugs the car actually runs better with the old copper ones. If you can't find Motorcraft spark plugs just get Autolites. They make the plugs for Motorcraft.

Agree with the first reply at 100%, for the plugs, I installed a bosch platinum last spring on My fresh rebuilted 3.8/232 V6, and NEVER AGAIN, I'll rechange the plugs this next spring when the car come out, for a autolite/motorcraft plugs, or anything except these BOSCH platinum...
