Went to court this morning, the DNR game warden, the cop and the prosecutor all giving me the evil eye! Judge heard both sides of the story and still didn't drop the case, but did fine me. $1 was the fine and I wasn't responsible for court costs, and no recording of a "crime" on my record. My lawyer helped immensly, his bill will amount to about $200, but a small price to pay than to be faced with a misdemeanor and a much larger fine. Dern suburban coppers, nothing better to do.

looks like the judge was on your side. The $1 is prolly just because you were guilty of killing the deer. But he sided with you. Good win
