I figure since the dash has the mpg guage and the other micro comp type stuff that the whole panel is controlled by the ECM right?  I really like the digital gas guage, but i want to go buttstuffogue like one from the TC.  i was thinkin about getting one of those illuminated digital guages you can get for the gas guage, one that does gallon readout.  what would i have to do if i put in the TC cluster to run the digital gas guage?  is the entire cluster gas guage included run by one computer?  hows the TC cluster work?

The cluster is self-contained - all the fuel economy data is calculated inside it. The TC gas gauge is a simple bi-metallic strip type gauge. The sending unit in the tank is different between the two types of dashes, too. Actually, the engine oil pressure and coolant temperature senders are different too.

so is it theoreticly possible to install the tc cluster and have digital readouts for oil pressure, fuel pressure, fuel guage, and coolant temp?  i dont mind at all missing the whole fuel managment guages at all.  i mean they help when trying to conserve but im used to driving where i dont even use it anymore.
