Well... I dunno.  I guess it's a matter of personal preference.  Our cars are 'old enough' to make 'em look good.  They definitely suck on  'new' cars though.

Well....you could go to the Ford dealership for them but they are expensive and within a year the ends will begin to rust. The brand that Ford uses is McGard. Those are available in full sets at Summit Racing for cheaper than the Ford dealer, and that's including the locking lugs. Last I checked they were somewhere around $50/us for the set. I *think* they have a long warranty.

You could also take a chance on other brands/sets from Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc. Check the warranty on everything too...some are longer than others. I bought a set of Gorilla(?) lugs for my turbines a few years ago...they seemed to be okay and held up well.

BTW, these cars have 1/2" standard studs.

Dammit!  Where you and your great info a month ago when I got 16 new nuts from the local Ford dealer and paid $6 ea. ?

I think you had just bought those when I posted the information in another thread. Sorry...I had my ESP turned off that day. ;)

All of my car's lug nuts (solid long ones) will be on the "for sale" thread once the Cobra R wheels get here and the tires are mounted.Every time I go to the salvage yards and see those lugs,I pull them and take them home. They seem to be getting harder to find at the boneyards. But,they're getting freakin' old also.

Oh, I've had women figured out for a long time. That's why I have cars. Cars don't complain, cars appreciate when you spend money on them, and cars don't give you no lip. And when cars piss you off, close the garage door and walk away. Or sell them. Whichever. :)
