Lookin' Really Good.

So where did you find the F350SD tow boss to steal that massive cooler off of?  :D  Just kidding, its not that big.

Enjoy the rest of your project.  I'm sure it feel good to have one of your dream cars well in progress.

You would be suprised at how many nuts and bolts hold alot of things on your cars. Half of the time I despise working in a Body Shop, but I do it everyday. Header panels/bumper covers are horribly mounted factory. Its not good when you are forced to put a cover on a Cadillac half-assed because the holes wont line up the second time.

Lookin good though.

The car is sitting in the yard with no bumper cover, header panel, or right fender on it :hick: I had to pull it out to make room for my mother's snowmobile that needs suspension work. I haven't stopped working on the car, though - I've been working on getting the severely oxidized paint off the TC hood and bumper cover, some small dents out of the TC hood, and the minor surface rust that was on the right fender (from where the cheap aftermarket mud flaps were attached) is fixed. I took this fender off so I could undercoat the inner fender/strut tower area as well as the inside surface of the fender and took advantage of it being off the car to fix that mudflap madness.

The good news is that the parts are all just about ready to go back on the car, and the snowmobile suspension parts will be going in tomorrow (they were on order and just arrived today). We're even supposed to get a little bit of snow tonight and tomorrow, so it'll be just in time. With the snowmobile out of there I'll be free to put the car back together. Once the fender, hood, header panel and bumper cover are on I'll have to go over the whole car to repair 20 years worth of parking lot dings, scratches, etc... Then it's time for the rear end transplant (my trac-loc rebuild kit purchased on eBay arrived as well).Hopefully, by the time the salt is off the pavement, the car will be ready for paint.

No, the rims aren't gunmetal - they were stripped, sanded, the holes were painted black, and then the rims were clearcoated. Details here
