My 1973 F100 Pics(410 Maurader Eng)

Heres some pics of a 1973 F100 i inherited from my grandpa. It had only 60k miles on it,but it sat 20 years. The engine was shot also. The guys he bought it from drove it as a farm truck without an aircleaner on it. So it burned oil something fierce. He also had a 1966 Merc Parklane with 50k on it with the 410 motor rated at 335hp+.
So i put the engine and tranny out of the Merc in the truck. It was a tight fit because the truck had ac on it and the Merc valvecovers were a little taller. It was a py white color with a gold top. After a little body work to fix the dents and rust I had one good running truck. I raced a kid in the town I grew up in and I told him I had a 302 in it when he asked. Boy did i stomp his little 305 chevy,15 trucks it was,or maybe it justed looked that way from my rearveiw mirror. thnks for reading 1BDBIRD.
Oh and it was painted wimbelton white, charcoal gray top.

Hmmmm! I like this model of pick-up with the parking lights over the sealed beams, This is the best model of Ford pick-up for Me...

A guy near Me have a 1976 Like Your, F150 with 302 for 300, but the truck is unrepairable unless You put 15.000$ in it:dunce:

The guy was offered to Me his truck just after purchased last spring), but wanted 700$ for, and it was rusty a lot in a box, the cab was okay, but not for me at this time...

When He offered to Me at 300$, a few months ago, but he make his run of s since this, I will take for 25$ not more :grinno: , the truck is bumped all around, the bumpers are pretzels, the tail gate is missing, the floor of the box is a big hole, and the windshield is cracked, the interior is an horror!!!...

300$ the last spring will be a deal, but not for 700$...

OOPS!, I missed a question, the 410 is the same block as 390, 429/460, or is a specific engine???, I never see a 410 in "pesron"...

Its a 352fe block,428fe crank,390 heads I think,it had factory 4v intake,and a fomoco 4v carb. The 429,460 is its own beast.
I was just a novice from redneck,NE. So I thought I did a good job with the truck. To each their own.

Okay, it's basically the same block of the 50's 350ci, okay, that's fine, I don't already have any referrence on the 50's and some 60's engines cauz in 80's I was stolen with a good part of My garage's goods, But I was see a 352 engine in a 57 or 59 Ford or Mercury (don't remember the model) and I remember a stranges similarities with a 390, but I never guessed it was a base of 410ci...

Thank You, and have a nice Day!,
