Mark VIII MAF and blue top injectors?

I'm just trying to figure out if these are going to work on my HO swap. The engine is a GT40p explorer and I'm going to be running an E-303 cam, 1.6 RR's with MAC headers and maybe a ported lower intake . I know that the  on the MAF will either have to be ground off or have an adapter built, I just want to know if it will function properly.

I found this auction for a Mark VIII MAF (80mm):

And these two for 24# injectors:

According to the ACCel chart here: http://go.mrgasket.com/pdf/DFIFuelInjectors.pdf , the stock replacement for a Mark VIII would be a 26 pound injector.  Running that particular MAF with 24's may make you run a tad leaner than normal if it were on a DOHC 4.6.  With your setup that you have mentioned that combo SHOULD be OK.  A lot depends on your fuel pump size and fuel pressure as well.

Here's some food for thought.  On my TFS head/cam/intake motor I run a 255 lph pump and a regulator set at 62 PSI through 19 pound injectors and a 73 MM MAF.  No check engine codes and great idle characteristics and part throttle response.  Also, this feeds the motor adequately all the way to redline (6000 RPM).  62 PSI makes a 19 pound injector flow as a 24 would at 40

Yeah, I like that chart. Well I got the 24s on the way. I have a Kirban pressure regulator and Walbro 255lph pump in the garage so I should be able to get it running well right away. I also plan on a custom tune eventually. I guess I better get moving on this first, the engine is still sitting on the stand and I can't decide if I want to have the lower intake ported.

Stock HO intake or Explorer intake?  If an HO, I would absolutely port it.

It's the explorer intake. I got the whole engine with accessory brackets, some wiring, injectors, fuel rails, upper and lower intake, headers, and flywheel for $450. 83k miles

Tmoss said it probably wouldn't be worth a huge gain and wouldn't be woth porting unless I was porting the heads also
