First see if you're getting 12V at START on the little lb/r wire at the starter solenoid on the inner fender.  If so...look at your starter.

If not...climb under the car and unplug the NSS plug and loop lb/r wire and see if it starts..... that will tell you if there is an issue with the NSS.

Do what with the who what?

starter solenoid on the fender by the Coil? and what does lb/r mean sorry just not understanding

Let's not get off track here,he did a floor shift install
and had problems from the beginning. It probably is the neutral switch. If it started before the switch,
Jump the wires like above don't be under the car though.

Geez--
Do you not know what a starter solenoid is?

lb/r= light blue/red.  The little wire that's connected to the small post on the solenoid. When that get's 12V from the ignition, it triggers the relay in the solenoid and the starter gets the battery power.  If you get no 12V during START at that little post, the starter will not go....

If you don't have that 12V...the NSS is probably to blame.  If you do have 12V, then look to the solenoid or the starter.

On the jumpering the wires under the car.  Unplug the connector at the NSS and make a little jumper wire and loop that lb/r wire at the connector (the chassis side...not the trans side). Then GET OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR and see if the car will start, or if you have 12V at that little post on the starter solenoid from the first step.

havent made it that far.
going to test that stuff right now.

as for the pan. im afraid that the gasket i put on there didnt seal right either cause it too me forever to get it up and bolted in place.

So im trading a guy around here a TC header panel for him to put it on, he is a mechanic, and has a bird. will tell him about here after the deal is done.
