What do I need to do?

Okay, This spring I want to do a once over on the 5.0. What should I look at? I will be replacing some gaskets.

It has 153k on the ODom, sat for about two years (most likely not being started).

Not looking to do any modding this year, just wanna get it to run good.
(Gotta tear the front suppen. out of my truck and do it, being 20 years old and all)

Also what other "upgrades" should I do? I wanna keep it kinda stock/original.

valvecover gaskets there notorious for leaks. rear main seal another pr0ne spot on out beolved 5.0s and it never hurts to change other gaskets too. since there how old?

New timing chain,some oil or Mystic in the cylenders (pull the plugs and put a little in there),new filters and fluids,lube job,etc.

Check your vacuum hoses for cracks.
Probably wouldn't hurt to do a new set of plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

if you be pulling the eintire thing... me says.. new oil pump and re-do the rings rod bearings and main bearings. change all of your freeze plugs
