Help me make a few dicissions!

Hi everyone.  Ok, heres whats going on.  My 87 TC is getting close to going in for paint (May or June).  Right now the body is camping out for the winter.  I have a few ideas that ive been kicking around and would just like some imput from other members on what they think will look good.

First off, the car will be painted twlight blue pearl metallic (factory paint code 7f).  I have already decided to shave the antenna, however i cant decide on anything else.  Here is what is up in the air.

1.  Remove the moldings or keep them.
-If i keep them should i paint them the same color as the car?
-What about the red stripe on the moldings? Should i paint it the color of the car or go crome with it like a sport coupe? Its not staying red!

2.  Mirrors, black or color of the car.

3.  Door handles.  This is a big one.  Ive always been a fan of the completely shaved look, thats why im shaving the antenna.  My big thing here is that im building a very respectable engine for this car and would like to take it to test an tune at the local track from time to time.  Im not sure, but i dont think they will allow cars with shaved door handles at the track.  Also, what if they malfunction, any suggestions on an emergeny release?  I was thinking maybe leave the drivers key hole and hook it up so you can release the latch with the key.

Well thats all i can think of for now.  Any pictures or suggestions are more then welcome.  Here is a picture of my late SC and the TC i am building as a tribute of it.

I think you will need to do something to 'break up' the color. If everything is one color It won't look as good as if you had something to break it up. I would say to keep all the mouldings black including the mirrors. I would keep the door handles, It really  me off when I get locked out of a car. I was gonna say to paint the door handles body color but, they break frequetly. It would be a pain to get new ones painted everytime one breaks.

I would paint the mirrors body color. Leave the door handles, paint them black. Leave the body moulding and it should be black as well. I think a chrome strip in the middle would be nice especially if you're going to be running with those pony rims in the picture. It would be nice to have a little bit of chrome reflected on the car to balance the wheels. Just my .02

Im in laurel md for now.  Here is something else i was thinking about reguarding the moldings.  This car is a turbo coupe only by name, i have basically switched everything out of my sport coupe over to this car, wire harnesses, engine and all.  So, should i keep the turbo coupe moldings or replace them with standard moldings?
