3.8L carb vs 5.0L carb

Why not just switch the whole carb?  Can I take a CFI carb off of a 5.0L and put it on my 3.8L?

Hemmm!...

After reading all of Your reply's and opinions, I'll wait next winter to do or try that, IF I do or try...

If I do this I'll make My own 4bbl intake from a 2bbl stock intake, I see a place to found a 4bbl intake, but at 600$ it's not for Me, I prefer modifiyng another intake myself...

Okay, thanks a lot for all of Your good hints,. I'll keep in mind...

ill say it again,,,,and refer to the pics above which illustrates a 3.8 and a 5.0 CFI,,,,,,,,,,,yes you can
