Yeah... so... Uh...

Well, leave it to me to be one of the first to do something stupid with my car when winter comes round, but I managed to do it again. Sparing you guys the details, I managed to curb the living piss outta the passenger side front end/suspension something fierce. Basically the wheel is pushed back off center of the wheel well, and i've in all likely hood bent a control arm and most likely a handfull of other things. I'm already bent over with my pants down for the "sticker shock" if you will. But I'm curious if anyone might have a clue as to about what I'm looking at cost wise to fix this. Ballpark would be nice, perhaps best case/ worst case. Any insight that could be offered up would be fantastic. As always thanks in advance folks.

I paid 30 dollars for a control arm and spindle, used.  Tie rod end is about 20 bucks, and wheel bearings are about 20 bucks.  And hopefully a strut is alright.

what kind of car is it?  I did something similar a few years ago with my cougar.  bent the lower control arm and destroyed a wheel.  luckily I had a parts car sitting out back.

Uh, control arm is kinda attached to the frame on this one. I'm hoping i just need a rim, control arm, a strut, a lil' bit of frame fixing and "maybe" a tire. Then again that's just wishful thinking.

Yeah, sorry about that completely forgot to mention it! It's a '98 Taurus SE. Lil' bit newer tech. But I will say that I really wish that I still had my bird, In all likely-hood this would not have happened. If it  did it would have been a lot easier and cheaper to fix than what I'm thinking this one's gonna cost.

Well $533.21 and a happy holiday later, the car will be getting fixed. No where near as bad as I thought. Only ended up with my pants down below the cheeks instead of around my ankles. Definitely could have been worse.
