Huh, my upper rad hose says E6........  Can't be original at 150k can it?  It did have the original timing belt up until last August.  I've never had any serious problems with my '86 TC, wait.  Never mind.

I've changed everything on mine,3 engines,4 tranys,3 sets of wheels,3 sets of seats,2 dashes,2 steering wheels,2 driveshafts,3 rear axle assemblies.Yep,we're bonded. She's part of the family. And now, ther's a Sport in the driveway getting ready for a makeover.I agree with what was said above,90% of any problems I've had to deal with was because of the swapping of parts I was doing. Not just because of wear and tear.

I don't seem to have reocuring problems just new ones. That pop up! I can say I've been driveong my 84 t/c now for about 2years as my daily driver. I have had a few things here or there. But nothing that seemed to be the same problem over. I did replace everything in the engine bay just about and the whole suspension and brake system before I started to drive it. So that I'm sure helped. But I'm not in process of getting my 85 XR7 on the road and I bet I'll run into the same kinds of stuff you all are talking about.
