4 black eyes

my bird was in a bar fight today and got 4 black eyes.......ouch !!!!

SERIOUSLY though its sick. that car looks mean. dont be surprised if you get some pen 15y fellow motorists *cough*ricers*cough* that wanna pick a fight! you oughta beef up the powerplant a little so you can really smoke em. i dont recall what were your plans? i know you had said you were gonna do something

For now I just want to get everything painted up, fix a few things on it and then some day I plan on putting a 302 in it.

the car has been sitting for the past 3 years because I never had the extra money to do the things I wanted with it.

Now paint the inside of the grill to match.  Looks killer.

Do this, I did it on my 80, just tape off the chrome bars, It will look awesome.

I thought about doing this but man that is alot of masking.any pics out there that I can see what it will look like?

Just take a sharp x-acto or utility knife and cut the masking tape to the proper width, its a PITA but worth it.

I only have one pic of my car from a few years ago, py pic though.

Mud Flaps FTL!!

That looks excellent, I'm about 80% convinced to paint the buckets on the 83 body color.  With the chrome taped off of course.

Uh... I wouldn't spend four hours masking that grille.

Just scuff the parts you want black, shoot the WHOLE THING black, and then go back over the chrome parts with a rag dipped in lacquer thinner.  Old detailers' trick.

Looks good, dude...
