I have a 3G and the H.O parts,I do need a mini starter.Don't forget the Taurus electric fans. They are awesome. If you see a set of Mustang aluminum factory valve covers, grab them for me.I need a set for the new project. My friend Curt and I are supposed to be leaving shortly to pick up a Taurus station eagon. It runs, and it's $50.00.I'm taking the 3G and the fan,he wants a couple of items, then we're going to part it out, sell everything we can on E-bay,and sell the shell to the syard for a hundred bucks. At $25.00 apiece,we can't go wrong on the investment.Need anything?

Picked up this full length 83 only console that has the rear lights.  Got my HO computer and fuel lines and this remanufactured 3G that is in excellent shape.

Jim (8birdy8) are going to hit the yard up again tomorrow, and probably have Victor (blue thunder) and Martin (*MAYHEM*) meet up with us.

I also went with Claude to the boneyard in Columbus.
Here's what I scored:
-3G alternator
-'83 turn signal
-Fog light switch
-Headlight switch
-Shift
-Coolant overflow tank caps

It's not like they're rare parts, but I wanted them anyway. I'm happy with what I spent on them.
Claude, I had the passenger side turn signal lense. I was dealt some good cards today.
I'll put those turn signal lenses in tomorrow afternoon.

Good stuff !!! I'll be off the first week of December, and will be hunting for hidden treasure. We have an iron and metal s yard that I love to go to.They sell by the pound, not the part. The first 20 pounds of parts is $3.00,and then they pro-rate you the more you buy.I went with a friend and he got an aluminum 350 Chevy intake,a set off valve covers, and a Holley for $9.00.There are always cars, and boxes and boxes of everything.Sometimes you find cool parts, sometimes you don't.But,as I said,I'll be hunting. There's an '88 Cougar across town with the front left hit pretty hard, the rest looks good,he said he's take $350.00 for the whole car. It's an original owner vehicle.Has the 3.8.If I had a place to put it,I'd buy it.He won't part it out.More "finds" to come.
