:] Reply #3 – November 07, 2006, 09:16:58 PM I like Futurama too (I have all the DVD box sets). I actually kinda prefer it to the Simpsons - it seems like MG was able to be far more creative. Some of my favourite episodes actually brought a lump to my throat as I watched (the space bee one and the one with Fry's dog). Don't get me wrong - I love the Simpsons and would still miss major heart surgery before missinga new episode one Sunday night, but I feel they "jumped the shark" about 8 seasons ago. Family Guy seems to be getting better with each new episode (I regularly think to myself "did they really just say/do that?"). I'm hoping Santa will bring me Simpsons season 9 and Family Guy season 5 this year. American Dad I can take or lose, though. And what ever happened to King of the Hill? It seems to have been rather unceremoniously dumped after Luanne got knocked up...I've read about a year ago that Futurama might stage a comeback like Family Guy did, but never heard a follow-up. That show was killed just as it was coming of age, IMO.So does anyone else think the Bender/Werecar looks a lot like a Chrysler 300? :D Quote Selected
