18 isn't much better. My best so far is Geico. $894 for the year. Waiting to talk to a person about it and I'm set there. Need to bribe someone for a ride to the DMV and register for incar test adn I have my lisence that day. Now withen reason, I'm only waiting on the title. I just don't wana upright ask the wife and I feel like a dick enough for bringing it up this soon. I know she is looking for it but asking for her to go to the courthouse with her husbands death cirtificate is a bit much. espicaly since after a test on tuesday, i might ship out for Basic Training for the NG in 2 months.

yeah, old people unite!!  my wife and i have 3 cars, we have liability (of course), comprehensive on all (theft, act of god, windshields, that stuff), and collision on the van (it's financed) and pay $657.86 every six months....  for both of us, with $100 deductables....  we're old!!

Just got back from Summit with Ifixyawata and his freind Mike. Got me a Acell super stock coil, Summit catless 2.5" H pipe and Summit 2.5" catback with GT tips. Should have on tomorow, and more parts n' stuff in the mail from Corral.

Not much of an update, but a question to alot of little things. Like for one, when I got the car the wiring was shiznit, espicialy the radio. I got it wired to work but there is one wire I can't find where it goes. Light green with yellow. If you connect it to the radio hot, when you turn the key on, all my int lights work. But with the keys out, door open nothing. I need to know where this goes and what to do with it. Also the carb heasitates if you punch it at any RPM. Will even stall the car sometimes. How to correct? If you ease into it no problems but if you just hit it, it heasitates and stalls. My last min i problem is what size plug to buy to plug the 02 sensor holes in the H pipe?

As for what I've got done....  not much. I mounted the trans cooler, hooked it up. Me and Brian got the trip minder out of my car for his and I'm debating either a factory digital clock for the spot or a Tach.

Put a tach in the dash and get it off the column.It'll clean it up a little.

Thinking about doing it today. Also going to try to scrub most of the black  off of the underside of the hood and inner fenders. I know there's white paint under there.

Good luck.For the tach install.Take your time and if you have to do any plastic cutting,do it in small amounts so the fit will be right.Better not enough than too much in this case.I have my header panel and driver fender off right now.I installed a new hood release cable,lower door hinge,and adjusted the hood.I'm getting ready to adjust the door,it was too far forward when I got it.Not for much longer though.I'm also removing the side trim between the wheels to smooth out the look once it gets painted this summer.

Well, after well over an hour and a half of cleaning, this is what I got done.





The car was washed a few days ago, wax to start after I go over it AGAIN... my god does this car get dirty



And a few shots to show off a cleaner Fila







Also here is the current motor/exhaust pics for everyone.







Summit H pipe went in great, flowtubes and Turbo lers. Brian got the tailpipes from me. carb is a Holley 1850 60 CFM Manual choke, the Lokar cables are on, and you can see the new Super stock Coil

Now to Eric when he see's this, I see NO, I repeat, NO blueish tint on this. I scrubbed this whole car over and over again, put a light coat of nu-finish on it, and still no blue.

To everyone else, there are still things that need done, so don't take the pictures to heart. I need to mount the trans cooler to something, I need to flip one flow tube on teh exhaust so they hang even, I need to clean ALOT more. But this is just a start and the days not over

If you havent figured out the plug for the O2 sensor i believe it is 18x1.25 or something like that, not sure on the pitch. Easiest way to do it is go buy a oil pan drain plug for a toyota truck(any year that had a 20r/22r engine will work)it fits perfectly.

One thing you might want to do is put something on them so they dont back out. I would just tack weld the head of the bolt to the pipe but if you dont have a welder i think loctite would work.

You ay not have noticed this,but there's a small blemish on your driver's door.LOL.Good work so far.Take your time.Do you have tailpipes yet?I've been busy myself.I am done for the day.I pulled the header panel and the fender (driver side),swapped out thehood release cable,re-aligned the driver door,and re-assembled everything.Tomorrow,I may do more,or,I may not.I did get a near perfect manual driver seat track today as well.I added it to my for sale stuff.I need to make a few bucks for the Sport.I still have tons I can do with what I have,though.I'll talk to you later.
