Do I have something missing too? Update 11/23

Isn't it nice that you can do this now? Glad to see you haven't sped the car.

I had a crack free blue dash for the '88. Its developed a couple since it's been sitting for the past year and a half though :(

You may consider installing a relay in the fog light wiring to take the load off of the switch.

Mine didn't work when I got it. I started to trouble shoot it and at some point it was just easier to run a new wire from the lights and put a relay under the dash.

Alright Cluade, how did you prep the dash, and what brand vinyl die?

I used these three products to get the paint on.

Prep all does a  good job of cleaning the dash vinyl without damaging it like continued contact with laqeur(sp?) thinner does.

The self etching primer I was told to use by a few different sources.  It does make the paint stick better than just spraying the vinyl.

Then the paint itself is just stuff I get at autohole.  It looks nice, I get the satin like dye, as there is a gloss as well.  This looks stock and under some armor all will look absolutely fabulous.

Wiring harness is in.  Its untaped because this harness was used to compare to v6/8 harnesses.

And yes thats a black console to go along with it.

Dam Impressive!

I don't even know how to take that dash apart as much as you did, and real great work on the harness research.

Well almost got it together today, ran out of daylight.

Here are the two heater boxes, the one I'm using is in the back.

Here is the box installed.

All of the ducting mounted back up.

And the finished product.  Its pretty much all done except for a few more connects then it can be bolted down.

Very cool man.

Time to change my dash now, since nobody seems to be intrested in buying the bird.

You, sir, have undertaken a daunting task.  My hat goes off to you.  What a mess of wires and ducting behind that thing, huh?  Wow.

Figured it was time for an update.

The dash is bolted all the way in now, but the console is just laying there.

Now does anyone know off hand what these are?

I've heard tales of this one, and I think it has something to do with my fuel pump not kicking on.

This one is under the dash on the left side.  Thats not to say it should be ther.

This one is poking through the hold where the firm ride and fuel switch are.

These are behind the radio but I think they are for the firm ride and fuel as well.

Now this one...  its over by the passenger foot well where the computer is.

IT runs!  Still have to sort some issues out.  The guages dont work, except the fuel guage.  And I started it with a screw driver over the soleniod as something is not in the loop of the nuetral safety thing.
