Ok

I am working on a deal with Team Z Motorsports to custom fab rear control arms and other components for 83-88 t-birds and cougars.

please let me know how many people would be interested in these if he made them.

It would depend largely on the price and construction. Maximum Motorsports and CHE Products both already make T-Bird/Cougar specific rear control arms...

I don't remember if this was mentioned before, but I noticed just yesterday that GlobalWest.net lists Tbird rear LCA's and C/C plates. I have CHE upper and lowers,( they're not installed yet) but I was checking out their front control arm bushings.

relocates uppers arms further out for better angles. check out http://www.teamzmotorsports.net Dave is a leader in custom race car and fabrication for fox body cars. some of the fastest cars in the world run his suspension. I have talked to him and if thier is interest he will start to make them for us he will be using my car for mock up.After he is done i will post pics.

Again..please define what "better" means.  Better for you may not be better for everyone else.  There are no details on the website about why folks would want to use their control arms, just pics and pricing.

I'm editing my post because I realized these are drag racing arms so none of what I said really applies.

I do wish they'd build a 3 link though. Something like what's pictured below. They definitely have the skills to pull it off, and panhard bars can be sourced from MM or Griggs so that's not an issue. I want a 3 link!

Actually, I bet Chuck could build one of these... hint, hint!

CHE, Maximum Motorsports, Global West, and Lakewood ALL make rear control arms for 83-88 TBirds/Cougars. I have CHE's for Layla and and future drag project would get the Lakewoods. Unless Chuck W made something ;)

these are not only for drag race they are just replacements that have better geometry and fully adjustable. if you guys are happy buying OTS then fine I will no longer pursue the deal.

I'm just asking for more technical "info" besides the are just "better".

The last time I asked someone for actual info they got in a  huff..took their ball and went home.....

Dogcharmer...I've actually looked at something like that 3-link or a Steeda 5-link KO for the '83....  Just gotta get the time to plug some numbers and figure out what I want....
