Does anyone know where to get the clips for the rear window trim? I called Ford and found out these come with the window trim. Does anyone have any ideas?

You mean for the back window? Are they like the 83-86's?

I know I needed to find the correct stuff for my 83 (different from the common Mustang stuff).

Rock Auto has alot of the Dormann stuff (where I got mine once I figured out the part number)

Yeah, I mean for the back window. I do not know if the 87 is the same as the 83-86. I'm not sure if 88 is the same. This is the first time that I have ever seen any clips that hold the window trim on.

Those are different.

Hit up the Dorman website (http://www.dormanproducts.com...appears to be down at the moment) to try and find a part number unless someone else has it.

The last time I needed some of those I got them from an auto glass shop.

You can get them at Oreilly's in either Dorman or Disco brand. I know the disco book we have you can lay the part on the page and match it up perfect. I know I just ordered some of the smaller ones in for my window trim.

-the original ford #, according to todays catalog, was e7sz-6342413-a. retainer, window trim. of course they're obsolete, but maybe it could help in cross reference....

You would be amazed at the "obsolete" parts that Ford dealerships still have in their inventory. I found the outside top door weatherstrip/trim piece a couple of years ago.

-checked that too, only about 5 dealers show to have one each.....

I have this list of 5 dealers that are showing to have 1 clip each. I was trying to get these locally or from 1 place but looks like that may not be possible.

I did check with 1 glass place but they couldn't help. I'll be searching for the next couple weeks.
