They call it "The Bird"

Finally got my camera back so i could post some pics.  This is my car, got it from my brother, who got it from my grandma.  She bought it new.  Not much done in the way of mods, but I have big plans for it. :grinno: Once I get it back from the repair man (had a little accident),  I'm prepping her for a new engine.

Nice car.Does it already have a V-8?By the looks of the seats,I was thinking it's a Sport model. Here's a cheap,if not free, tip for your mirrors. If you get some "Mother's Billet Polish",and go over those mirrors a few times, they'll shine so well you can see yourself in them.No paint needed.Just a thought.Keep the car alive, and everyone here is more than happy to help along the way.2 thumbs up.

I don't know about the wheels.  My grandpa doesn't remember getting them.  And it is a Sport.  And thanks for the tip.

So what are you engine plans? The car looks good though. Can't wait to see all the progress you plan to do to it.

I'm rebuilding a 351W, nothing much, (stock heads, gt40 intake, mass air) just to get the hang of it.  I plan to upgrade the heads and cam when some money comes in.  I'm shooting for street with taking her to the strip once and a while.

Nice bird, man.  Keep us updated on it, I have a windsor laying around that I thought about dropping into the Bird.  Thought it might be a bigger headache then it is worth though.  I would like to see your version of it, if you do it.

Very cool man. Sport huh? I figured as much since it had the duals and you said it hadn't been modded much. Always cool to see another bird with AR wheels too. ;)
