AOD shifter and shifter cable

I need a SHIFTER for an AOD transmission and a SHIFT cable as well. If anyone has let me know thanks

Those things are made from unobtanium.It took me three years to find the correct cable,shifter and bracket.I am buying a T-Bird Sport soon,and it has one as well as the car I'm driving.Good luck ol' boy,you'll need it.

i have all the brackets and the shift down cable. all i need is the shifter cable and shifter. I dont really think its hard to get . I think i can just get that off another aod if anyone has

That's what I'm talking about.The cable is unique to the 5.0 AOD floor shifted Cougar and T-Bird.The TV cable is like a Mustang.The shift cables are getting extremely hard to find.The Mustang and Turbo Coupe cables are different.I tried everything I could get and nothing worked right,except the correct cable.Ask around to everyone selling parts.Good luck.

I'm getting a Sport model soon,and I'm storing the cable,bracket,and shifter away and taking good care of it.Like I said,they are getting to be very rare.
