Fixing pictures

does anyone know how to resize pics?  I tried to post some yesterday, but they all are over a MB, so they need to be slimmed down.  I can't retake them because i just got rear ended, so the Bird is messed up a little.

You can also do it in MS paint....just open the image and from the tool bar goto>image>attributes and resize the width/height to whatever you find suitable...also, when you resize photos it sometimes will distort the image, so make sure you always keep an original copy of the image you're trying to resize..

I usually copy and paste the image into Word, and just drag the corner of the image until it's the size I want. Then copy and paste it into Paint and save. No distortion there.
That was before I got photoshop...

I use HP Image Zone.  It lets me do all sorts of things. resize, contrast, sharpness, red-eye removal, color saturation, resize, etc.

You said resize twice. Just had to point that out so you can return to your daily schedualed program.
