I got it from a co-worker who stored it after a teenage girl hit the left fender and door.Damage was limited to exterior panels and did not damage hood, header or any sub-structure. The insurance company didnt think much of fixing it so they totaled it and sold it back to my friend. He lost interest when he couldnt figure out how to keep it running. He put on a new IHI turbo, 4 new yokohama tires, new stock configuration exhaust and a new clutch. I installed a new fuel pump and filter and BAP sensor. The underneath is extremely clean, no rust at all on the strut towers, frame rails on quarters. The door bottoms are rusty as well as some starting on the trunk lip under the seam sealer. The rest of the cat is rust free since it didnt see any winters in years. This car runs, drives ,boosts, idles and stops great. It is currently not licensed in Ohio. Needs state patrol inspection to buy tags. I've been driving around my neighborhood and local back roads (till my wife the cop hollered at me and made me stop). So, while it runs and drives great, its up to you how you get it home. Again, it has a SALVAGE TITLE. Its worth what I have in it just for the parts. Everything works, just needs the paint and body done. I'm looking for a 97 or 98 Mark 8.$950 bucks gets me even. Hate to see it parted out cause it really is solid. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio Will post pics shortly. PM for more info or phone. Quote Selected

88 Tc Reply #5 – October 28, 2006, 01:03:34 AM If i could find some rust free doors near me, I would maybe consider keeping it and spending a little on it, cause it really would be a great car. Unfortunately, I dont want to sink a bunch in it cause our cars currently dont bring what it would cost to do it right. So, kinda thought the mark 8 looks like what the T-bird body would have evolved into had it stayed around longer and they seem to be more plentiful. Quote Selected
