Easiest way to raise/lower a cougar... January 02, 2005, 11:49:46 AM Yes...raise. I actually wanna do some offroad mods like roof lights, fog lights, etc. I was planning on doing a D-Derby or nascar paint scheme. Make the car look funny and something you don't see everyday. So what's the easiest way to raise or lower an 87 cougar about 2". I don't want to go through with new springs and shocks, way out of my budget. Anything I can do that's swappable? like I wanna be lower one day for racing, raised for offroad dirt racing? I don't care if it would take a day or so to switch it out... Quote Selected

No wooden bumpers, proper body mounts (instead of hockey pucks) and an EFI 302 or 351W with A/C. Nice wheels (probably not as big as that though, probably those BBS Crown Vic wheels with 235/75R16 tires or something)... If I've gotta have a winter car but want my T-Bird too I can't think of a better way of doing it. Quote Selected
