Factory water pump?

anyone else have a Ford aluminum water pump? My Tbird has one...most other 5.0 I've seen in the junkyard have cast iron.

I *think* I have one, Part # is 50AE-8505-AA. I belive that it's an alluminum, but it's just sitting in my room either way. Make offer if you want it.

Ahh, I took it as you needed one. Well, there is one on my bird and I have an extra then.

just about everyone will have an aluminum water pump. off the top of my head i cant remember what year they did the change over about 1979..which is when just about everything went reverse rotation..all old 200 L6 to 460 V8  should have a cast iron water pump. i don't have a TRW water pump buyers guide on hand to varifiy " the buyers guide has all the pictures of the pumps and it's spec's. worked in the auto parts 17+years.

Pep Boys has New ones from Bosch.. for $40. Alum. Not a bad price at all. I will need a new one the steel hose sleaves rusted away.. what is wrong with Brass... Oh ! that would last too long..

Mine is aluminum.Soon to be polished !!!

Mine is still EWW but it will be cleaned up soon enough. I'll even clean the extra one for good measuere
