Here is my 85 F350 4x4.  Complete ground-up restoration, converting a 2wd F150 into a 4wd 1-ton using 1 California truck, 1 Arizonia truck and about 5 others for other parts.  Every wearable part is new Ford or N.O.S including all the body side mouldings (not yet installed in the picture), weatherstriping, lamps, all chrome parts ect..........  Fresh 460 with about 375HP/500TQ, built C6, Dana 70 rear (3.54 open in picture, now 4.10 pwrlok), Dana 60 King-Pin front, Alcoa wheels with 35" Toyo AT's.  From a dead stop a "bolt-on" 94 Lightning with jump ahead until it gets traction, but by 1/8 mile it pulls the Lightning by 2 trucks, and by 4 trucks in a 1/4 mile.

Nice, very nice. I love that body style. Wish I had a solid front axle and a nice body on mine!

This is a pic of a 1986 Ranger that I use to own.I bought it new and put a 4" trail master lift kit on it. I drove it for 14 years .It is now in a bone yard somewhere.

I thought I would throw in a pic of a go kart I biult. It had a 250 cc Oasa <----- spelling (spanish bike) engine on it.it was insanely powerful on this little frame.

Hey all,
I know I'm a little late getting in on this one, but here's my daily driver; a '98 F150 SuperCab Lariat 2WD, 4.6, 5sp OD, 3.55 non-LS, currently 128k miles.  These pics were taken after I modded it; for those of you up on your F150's, you'll notice that the front end is not a '98 - the grille and grille surround, front bumper with upper pad, and lower valance (w/ foglights from a 4x4 model) are all '99+ vintage ('99's got a whole new front end).  The truck originally came with the black honeycomb grille and chrome front and rear bumpers.  I happen to like the '99+ front ends, especially with the fogs, and I also happen to like the de-chromed look of the STX/Sport models.  So I located all of the necessary '99+ parts, had the grille and surround painted white, had the front bumper w/ upper pad painted to match my lower 2-tone tan, and also had the rear bumper painted the same color.

For a little bit of F150 trivia; 1998 was the last year you could get a 5sp OD in an F150 Lariat - from 1999 on, all F150 Lariats (leather and all power goodies) came with automatics.  It's actually a pretty rare truck.  How many stick-shift 2WD Lariats have you seen?  For that reason alone, I don't want to get rid of it, even though every now and then I would like to have an automatic back.

88foxt,
Man, I absolutely LOVE your truck!  I love the blackout theme.  Wanna trade?  Is it a Sport or STX?  The wheels make it.

Does this count as a truck?

It's a 95 Aerostar XLT I got for free because the oil pan was so rotted it was losing a quart a day..

I fixed that, did the ball joints and tie rods, exhaust and added the ranger rims. I've got about a grand into it and I love it. Carries 7 people with the rear seats in, but with the rear seats out it carries an amazing amount of stuff. I use it for Home Depot runs and junk yard trips all the time.

, what the hell did the previous owners do for the pan to rust out like that but leave the body so  clean.

The only way i'd own an aerostar is if it had a stick.
