Where to get 87-88 5.0L TBird engine mounts

Hi there, Ford no longer has the funny 5,0L motor mounts to fit the 87-88 TBird K member but you can get the rubber part of the mount from NAPA. What I'm looking for is the steel bracket that bolts to the engine which the rubber part is bolted to. If look hard enough through the wrecking yards I may find it but I thought you guys may know some place that still carries them. Thanks...Ken.

nowhere carries them anymore, i usualy have a couple laying around, but i think i only have one side now. but junkyards are the best place to look. they arnt too bad to remove eather, just bring a jack to lift the motor so you can pull them out.

forgot to mension, junkyards usualy only have broken mounts. so if yours are already out, u might as well just replace them with the napa rubber... OR... if chuck happens to have another set of poly mounts he made up, buy one from him. i think he sold out tho.

-ford motor company has discontinued them , but there are plenty of them out there to be had if you got a good parts man at your local ford dealer.

I've heard that if you ask chuck and be really nice about it he might put your name on a list for some of his home made 87-88 mounts :D

Will the Stang mounts work? A few of the companies that mak K-members also have mounts.

When I did the HO swap in our '87, both of the engine mounts were broken in the car. I was able to get one whole drivers side mount at advanced auto and then just the rubber donut deal from O'reilly's for the passenger side.
