Don't know if any of you have seen this video, but I think its pretty amazing how they used the stock fuel system. That thing is AMAZINGLY FAST!!!

Nice car but...

That dude needs to learn how to drive.

Here is a prime example of someone with more money than comon sense. 800 HP + road race suspension + street tires = no traction. From what I saw he can't even make a clean quarter mile pass. The only attempt they show in the video is where he hits second gear and probably wipes out right after they cut the video. I noticed there are no track times beinig bragged about. I'm sure its because he crashed on his first attempt down the strip, heheh. It's a good thing there was no one in the lane next to him.

He should've stuck to bench racing dyno numbers, lol! What an asshat!

dude its a 1012 WHP car. . . and its RWD, out of a dig you won't be getting much traction with a stock setup. They built the car to be streetable yet amazingly quick. Now saying the guy can't drive. . . Have you ever driven a turbo car? when you stomp on it there's some sort of lag, and when the turbos spool up theres so much power being put down in a snap of the fingures that it can be hard to control, especially with 1012whp car doing its first 1/4mile run. Not to mention its a completly different animal than what it was before, he just got a little carried away, or a lot :dunce:

I am skeptical about it having 1000+ HP

I saw this earlier this week and only saw the dyno at 8** HP.

still...

that car is really badass.

Head over to http://www.imvfilms.com you'll find the full 20 some odd minute clip. Towards the end you actually see that it wasn't the owner driving it down the track. The funny thing is, it was one of guys who did the work/tuning of the thing... the even better thing is that he saved the thing in unreal fashion. I agree with shame, I don't think there are many of us here that could've taken that thing down the strip sucessfuly, much less pulled of that kind of save. Irregardless, that's one hell of a machine, though I think there are a few supra's around that could take that thing on!
