The worst-case scenario would be that the database needs restored, which might result in some downtime, but should fix the problem. The host's servers are blazing fast...load times on my site, using the same host, are very quick. So it's got to be PHP or board-related. I'm putting in a service call to the host ASAP. Compared to Lincolns Online's board, it has been slower here lately.. and they have far more users than we do. I have a loading time of 35.173 seconds for this page alone. Messageboard is loading very slow..... Reply #13 – September 08, 2006, 04:29:21 PM Just an update...we have been elevated to the top tier for database help at the hosting company. They did recognize a database connection issue and are hoping to have things resolved by the end of the weekend. As of this writing (Friday 9/8) the board seems fairly speedy now. Hopefully that's a permanent solution. Please post your feedback so we can get a good idea of whether it's fixed or not. Thanks everyone! Quote Selected
