come an get'em! *update* September 04, 2006, 01:51:17 PM for some time now i've bin looking to put the stock rims back on my cougar.. and since the ones i had are in NY and if there are still there are about 1200 miles away.. anyway i found a set here local in palm beach. i just have to get a set of 4 cougar center caps for them.. i will be picking these rims up sometime this week.and hopefully in the next few weeks i'm going to put them back on the car. after i clean and refinishing them... nope not going to clearcoat them i think i'm just going to paint them silver or something i have'nt desided yet..anyway so there will a set of 4 weld draglites up for grabs i'm not sure of the off set.but there are a set to fit 79-93 mustangs..4 lug from what i remember the fronts are 15/7 and the rears are 15/8.. i'm not looking to sell them for big money i just want them out of my hair before i turn them in s.. the rims have the center caps and will come with the beat up old lug nuts..only thing is you will have to come pick them up.. i do not plan to sell them off the message board unless someone in town brings them up and is looking for a set..so if no one on this board comes to pick them up.. and i still have them by cat jam next year i will be throwing them in the trunk for the trip up and someone else is going home with them;) i don't care if i have to resort to sneaking them into someones open door or trunk when there not looking :rollin: :D Nick Quote Selected

come an get'em! *update* Reply #11 – October 18, 2006, 07:26:27 PM i have said this allready to a few people that i'm only looking to get like $200.00 for the set of four with all center caps and py lug nuts..their are a few things the person who take them needs to know about these rims.one. if you did the 11"brake convertion then the caliper bolts need to be put on the grinder shaved on the corners of the hex.. 87&up mustangs use 11"brakes and call for the same rims with the "XP"prefix and these are not. but work fine with a few minor ajustments..two.the rim should be check to see if the rims are still centericentric..sorry if i miss spelled the laet word but thats what it's called..anyway why? because these are racing rims and i drove on them everyday for about 4 years and about 100,000 miles and over time i have had to lightly file the rims over time where the lugnuts go to get them to fit back in the holes..the rims balance fine on a high speed balancer.. i would just get them checked..now number three!!! which is the BIGTIME reason why i am getting rid of them..you will need to get a 55 gallon barrel of elbow grease and metal polish to keep these damm things clean and i just don't mean the first time either!:shakehead :barf: other then that the rims are fine no road rash or dents on the rimsany other questions let me know or call me.. and i can give you more detailed info(646)271-3803Nick Quote Selected
come an get'em! *update* Reply #12 – October 18, 2006, 11:13:09 PM at this point it seems quite a few people are interested in these rims..which is cool i guess because i don't plan to offer them to anyone localy ie shoving them in my car every other day to try and sell them at a car show or something.. i'd rather give someone here the chance to take them.. anyway like i said at this point i'd like to be as fair as i can with this. and first see if someone would be willing to pick these up first.. then if not then see what it whould cost to ship them.. which i was'nt really planing to do.. do to time and cost.. but like i said if no one is willing to pick them up then i will check to see what it will cost to ship them. the real price..not an inflated price if it cost 20 then it's 20 if it's 40 then it's 40. and so on.. if then they do not go. then in the trunk to CJ07..does that sound fair?stay tunedNick Quote Selected
