Plastic backing piece behind steering wheel

My dad and I have been hunting forever for the round plastic piece that goes behind the steering wheel because the one in my car is broken. I don't want a new wheel, just the plastic piece. The broken piece is causing my cruise control to not turn on all the time (sometimes takes 5-6 tries) and it's annoying. Thanks for your time.

I believe that they are calling that the clock ring. I know dorman makes them for many cars. Don't think they offer one for the t-bird. I wonder if they make it for the mustang. I'll check also does anyone know if a mustang on would work.
