Yah I just did the HO Upper/Lower w/ 19# injectors and fuel pressure regulator.

It runs fine sometimes, then it starts sputtering at others. I just took it for a ride for the first time and I'm happy with the performance but it almost feels like it's missing every so often.

cant just do the computer, need the ho cam as well. all or nothing realy....

just swap out the upper intake and tb. the lowers are the same. keep your 14 lb injectors in there untill you are ready to do the rest of the ho swap.

Computer swap no problem, just behind right side kick panel, unplug old and plug in new. If I remember correctly the bolt size was some weird metric (7mm or something don't quote me on this).

As for the cam change, that's what's going to take some time. Plan on also changing the timing chain set to double roller. The stock crown vic type stretches and isn't worth putting back in. A new water pump is also a cheap and worthwhile swap at this time. Timing chain cover may come off easy or may cost you half a day as you encounter 1 or 2 difficult bolts requiring LOTS of patients with a breaker bar turning a few degrees at a time and lots of your favorite penetrant. I emphasize LOTS cuz you don't want to bust a bolt in the block (ouch). A little gentle persistence prying off the cover. I had one dowel that didn't easily release the cover and required persuasion to get the cover back on. These covers are known to break so becareful. Good chance to degrease the front and top of the engine. New push rods are also another relative cheap swap. Good luck. Its a cool feeling when you go thru this and hear it fire up the first time.

It may be a good idea to swap in an H.O. fuel pump also.

I have a 3/8" spacer and it bring the upper intake to the top of the fire wall.

If you need any parts let me know. I have just about everything you would need.
