More about QA1 Reply #4 – June 21, 2006, 05:30:07 PM there have been a several cars out there that have had the QA1 K-member fold up on them under hard cornering ... this is partially due to the fact that they only use tabs to bolt it in. This is not a K-member I would recommend for street use. I would recommend the AJE K-member with road race bracing .. it is made with much better quality and is much more durable for street and track use.Here's an example of what I'm talking about ...Notice that all of the mounting points from the k-member to the frame and suspension on the AJE unit the bolts actually go through the k-member ..the one below doesn't have the optional road race bracing, but still demonstrates the superior quality ..Now look at what QA1 uses for its mounting points ... little metal tabs .. and no option of extra bracing ...
