No Fuel Pump Hum or Relay click

After doing some relocation of wire to the fenders, I no longer have a relay click or fuel pump hum.  I was wondering if anyone knew the routing of the fuel pump wire start to finish with the colors also of the wires.  I would start with the relays but they were fine a couple months ago, and I doubt the pump is bad although it'll be replaced soon anyway.

Any ideas?  The car cranks, just no fuel.

Ok, how about more concise questions...

Anyone know where the fuel pump connects to get power?  I'm thinking starter solenoid.
Also, are both the of solenoids under the passenger seat the fuel pump relays? (they're the same pinouts)
What color wires are the ones that connect the fuel pump to power?  I assume they're one of the fuseable links?

I need to know tomorrow, need to work on it.

Thanks

Those would be for the power locks.

Any of these diagrams help?

Yeah those help, yellow wire with the fuselink on it.  I guess I must have popped the fuse link or the relay's bad?

Where is the fuel pump relay in this car then?

David...check your fuel cutoff switch too. If you've bumped the back of the car, that switch will pop up and keep the fuel system from working. Trunk, taillight panel, driver's side, reach through the hole and push the button down.

Well, tried changing the relay, not that.  And I also tried bypassing the cutoff switch, and it's not that.  I get no click, or hum or anything....

Here's a diagram of what voltages are where...

Also, when I jump the yellow and Pink/Black wires, I get the fuel pump to hum on and off repeatedly.

Where is the EEC Relay?

Why do I have such a voltage drop to 9v?

Excuse the 121 volts in the top left.  It's 12v

Correct operation:
Ignition at run with engine NOT running: pump runs for one second and shuts off.

Ignition at start: pump runs.

Ignition at run with engine running: pump runs.

The EEC controls the pump operation by providing the ground to the tan/light green dots wire to the fuel pump relay coil.
Your diagram shows 9V there so you do not have the ground.

This same tan/light green dots wire also goes to pin 6 of the self test connector.

With the ignition in run, if you ground pin 6 at the self test connector, the pump should run.

The EEC power relay is in the right side of the dash, near the glove box. If you listen closely you can hear it drop about 5 seconds after you turn the ignition off.

Where is the ground for this?  If I disconnected a ground by chance, where does the computer get the ground from?

Thanks for your help so far, one person told me it was "My computer, you need to replace it"  ugh.  His answer for everything  LOL

Problem fixed :)  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :)

When I did the battery relocation and was pulling the wires through the fenders the battery ground for the EEC got stuck on the way through.  Grounded it to my battery and fired it up open headers :)  Mmm... music to my ears!

Thanks!

Your negative battery cable should have a small black wire on it. this goes through a connector and into the cable harness. This is the EEC ground wire.

The negative battery cable should have a clip at about two feet down that attaches to the chassis and then goes on down to the engine block.

I don't understand the 9V situation. The 12V and two 9V measurments you show at the fuel pump relay, were they made using the same meter ground reference?

We must have been typing at the same time!! Glad you got it fixed.
