LED backlighting (again)

There's some interesting LEDs available HERE that look like they may be a great replacement for instrument cluster lights. I placed an order last night and they should be here in a couple days since they're in the same state (but still 300 miles away). Opionions? I'll give mine once I put them in. I'd like to see green and white available, but went with blues for now.

Now only if they'd get something better in 74/37's...They say they'll have some brighter inverted cone ones in a month. Last inverted cone ones I tried were slightly dimmer than the stock bulbs. Tried some tri-led ones (standard rectangular led) and although they are BRIGHT, I can't get them to light up the system sentry evenly enough. Looks like LEDs are bright enough now to give us twice the illumination, just waiting on light diffusion designs to catch up.

Question though, things like the dome light say we use 906/912 bulbs. According to certain sites, 922's are the same socket also. Does anyone have a complete cross reference sheet with these things, or is the sylvania one as close as we're going to get?

Looked and there's no way the dome light is a 906 or 912 bulb and I can't even find what a 105 looks like. Can anyone tell me what type of bulb that is?

Looking at swapping to LED lights for the dome/map light and have the same question as Seek.

I've got some new LED's to try out in the dash here soon. They SHOULD work well. These other lights I am still curious about also.

A 105 has a bayonet type base to it.

The problem with LED's in our dash is the green diffuser that blocks just about all color, along with the lack of reflector usage that the cluster was designed to use. I've used units that contain multiple SMD's with poor coverage that was more dull than standard filament bulbs. Green and blue work better than white LED's and red is useless in our dashes.

For the dome/map, I've no clue where to start without testing products out and wasting more money. I have a $200+ box of various single/pair LED's that I've tried over the years that perform poorly, from cheap eBay diodes up to the "high end" $20 type sold by the larger websites. I'm tired of wasting cash. The eBay ones performed just as well as any other with exception of differences in brightness or color hues.
