If you buy one you WILL need to visit this place.

The have a vendor's section, you browse through it for available parts. The TC Specific Aftermarket is actually pretty small. Just like regular ThunderCats, most parts come from Mustangs and are made to fit.

I prefer turboford.net

As for problems, I haven't really had any huge problems with mine aside from the ABS master cylinder going out on me. It's actually been a really good car.

I would say that there isn't any big problems with the turbo coupe it is just a lack of understanding that there are a picky setup. I love mine it just takes a little getting used to what is really needed to make it run right. As for aftermarket bolt on's there aren't alot but there are plenty of things you can do to make more power than adding a bigger turbo. Also if you are really interested get an older one 83-86 they came with a garret t-3 vs the 87-88 that came with an IHI turbo. The t-3's can make more boost than the IHI can. So you can do more with it before you need the turbo upgrade.

Well, sort of, there's a limit to how far you can go on the T3 cars since they have no intercooler whatsoever...and I personally wouldn't do over 18 (the IHI's max) on a stock fuel pump anyway, but that's just me.

The earlier cars are easier to work on, but the '87-88 cars have all the "neato" features like the 8.8, 3.55-geared disc brake rear, 16" factory wheels, intercooler (sucks in the stock location but can be relocated), etc.

Also be aware that the engines are not all identical over the model years, there are differences, and the newer you get the better the engines are (as far as the VAM/injectors/intakes/computers go)

Bah....buy the car you like the looks of and change the mechanicals to suit your desires....

This talk of "this one is better" or "that one doesn't have this" is all irrelevant.  The newest of these cars is 18 years old.....how they came "stock" is moot at this point.
