Late model motor mounts question October 07, 2006, 12:36:53 AM I managed to find and buy 2 brand new left side upper bracket for 87-88 5.0 T Bird and Cougar but passenger side upper bracket is like needle in haysack.I've seen plenty 1989 and up T Bird and Cougar V8 engine bracket. I was wondering if they'll fit 87 Cougar K member?Has anybody here try to use late model 302 V8 1989 & up T Bird and Cougar motor mount bracket in 87-88 T Bird / Cougar?My gut feeling tells me it will work with little or no modification. Late model motor mounts question Reply #1 – October 07, 2006, 04:28:36 PM If I remember correctly you have to use the 87-88 Cougar/Thunderbird mounts as they are uniquie to the K-member. Mustang or Mark VII mounts won't work unless you swap in a Mustang K-member. Quote Selected

The part that bolts to engine block.Anyway, I should explain more clearly on my first post. I wondering if 1989 and up T Bird and Cougar V8 mounts will fit on 87 -88 T Bird and Cougar. Quote Selected
