need help asap. timing. sparkplug

1990 Mercury Cougar LS V6 3.8 (non superchanger)

 i just change the intion pole and cap, rotor, plugs, wire. put them back on and enginellike they were but the wouldn't kick over?  :mad:

 could some show a pick on how the plugs go on the cap and the placement of the intion pole??

lookd on goolge. but nothing  :bs:

 and i cheap way of fixing this too

from front of vehicle- 1 2 3
                              4 5 6
distributer rotates counterclockwise.

I had a problem with mine that sounds similar to this... I do not know how the cap and rotor are setup on yours. I know they are different between 83 and 88. So this might not be of help. But I had the rotor in backwards or upsidedown, I forget now, but mine wouldn't start (go figure  :hick: ). So my guess is it is probably just something little like that, double check back over it all.

thanks guys :cheers: . i got it :banana: working :welder:. i took dig pix off it. but that was no help. even the whiteout i put down was uless to. LOL
