Wow...my friend wasn't lying. :(

That car belongs to someone I know, who keeps it and his late '70s 240Z up very nicely and only brings them to shows and cruise-ins around here. He's a regular, and has a heart of gold. So does his old man, who always tags along. Granted I agree, since the first time I saw it I've always tried to ignore the "goodies" all over it, I can't say he's got great taste. But a very clean car in and out.

They both have cancer and between 1 and 2 years to live. Not many know this, but last Friday another friend from the cruise-ins told me this. He's selling off most of his stuff and moving out to California. http://www.thedeadendcruizers.com/membersridesnews.html  He's about 3/4 of the way down in the middle (see if you can find me with my dark grey '38 Buick 4-dr, the only pic with a punk kid sittin on the runningboard LOL)

Just thought I'd let anyone that might be curious know why it's for sale. Not taking offense to the comments about the appearance, and he wouldn't either, definitely a "to each his own" kinda guy. I couldn't believe the news. I hope he enjoys every day he has left to the fullest.
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

Don't. I knew it would be that way LOL. But honestly I'm sure he's had people ask him why there's so many doo-dads all over it. shiznit, how would you have known? You didn't. Funny how those things work out. That's why I'm the last person to ever flip out on someone poking fun at me/busting my stones for anything. They might think different if they knew who I was, but they don't so all they know is what they see/observe.

Hey to each his own.  Hopefully that car gave him a lot of enjoyment through the years.

Just seems like I pretty much put the old foot in the mouth on that one.  lol.
