Cassity's logic only applies to average people doing the average job.

exactly,, I am happy for any young kid who has this kind of ambition.  Great news,, no rain intended but just a logical point of the discussion.  Im sorry if i worded things rainy.

wow i found out i was going to be a dad in my senior year i was 19 my wife 17.just remember its been since 1997 for me and times have change but if he has the choice between tools or scholarship.he needs to check into weather or not he needs to have his own tools at the start of the job if so 25k isn't as bad as a loan compared to say what mine was 80k for just a little over a year.and if he dont need the tools than its a no brainer. i know how it is trying to go to school full time plus work full time leaves little time for family but if he can make it through it then  his famliy will be better off. sacraficeing one thing to get anouther is something we all do but hes young and his work drive will get him far just keep him focused:beatyoass: lol

He won't need any tools for school and while he is there he can buy them at a discount.... he knows it will be tough, but he's been lucky to have his dad and I to support him through it all.  We hope it will help him get ahead in life.  We've told him it's gonna be a long road, but he's a really good dad and we know he will make it.

It's always tough to be a parent so young, especially when you are still in high school.... I'm just glad his dad and I could help them out with it...otherwise they'd have nothing.... because no one else is helping (not her family or anything).
