Chop the top and suicide that bitch! :D Being a 4-dr, you can customize to your hearts content and still not offend the purists.

'64 Fairlanes are very popular cars, If it were a 2 dr it would be worth $3000-$4000 as it sets. Cleaned up and running decent, I'd guess it would bring $2000-$2500 fairly easily...

If it were a 2dr this is the route I'd take... Thunderbolt clone..

Even the 4dr could make a interestng ride, as this wagon proves..

yeah i'm with chuck on the baby moons, would make a real nice touring car. For the wagons, I like the '64 Falcons.

Believe it or not, I did give something in return. I promised to take care of it! Also to let her know when it's all done and I take it to it's first car show. She's looking forward to seeing it in tip top shape again and I'll let her take it for a spin. It could easily be modified but I tend to have a weird conscience with certain cars of that era about modifications. If the car is complete, original, and running as this one is, I most likely will not make any major changes. Besides I have never seen any 64 Fairlanes in this area at any shows. Now if it were a 2 door not in running condition it be time for a Thunderbolt clone

I do my best. :hick:

My old Boss used to have a white 2-dr version of that. One of the few cars I've driven in that didn't have seatbelts. What a vulnerable feeling. I kept puting my hand on the dash to brace myself. Nice car, though, until his wife drove it dry of oil.
