Buddy of mine has an 84 Mustang GT Turbo convertible. Now THATS a rare one.

I have seen Mustang turbo GTs and there is production number to back that up apparently but fairmont turbos? You don't think that is rare?

Turbo Fairmonts are indeed rare, but like you said, there is no documentation. In 84, there was something like 320 Turbo GT Verts in silver. It's all relative.

Main reason Turbo Fairmonts are rare is mostly because the draw through turbo 2.3L was junk. People gave up on them quick.
