Ive been meaning to ask about this. What the heck is the GST edition? Was this a dealer add on, or recognized by Ford?

There are 2 of them on ebay right now.

I think, not sure, that is was a conversion that was done by GST but I could be totally wrong (leaning more towards dealer though the more I think about it) . Its just the body kit as far as I know.

Made by GSTFX, formerly of Blue Mounds WI, Formerly of Middleton WI.

Body kit, spoiler, and the exhaust tips. I have a couple of the GST Edition logos in my toolbox. They also did this to newer MN-12 Chassis cougars/Thunderbirds.
