Lower control arms

Does anyone know how much  mustang lower control arms will change the pinion angle on my 84 bird? How about drag shocks. Does anybody make them for T-birds.

The Stang lower arms will send your pinion upward if you use the T-Bird upper arms.
You have 2 options. Use the Mustang uppers with the Mustang lowers and watch your wheel move forward in the fenderwells, (see my avatar-this is before the "stretch" )  or stretch a set of Mustang lowers by 1/2 to 5/8 inch.
  I did this on a set of Southside lowers. I added 3/4  inch exactly to the length, added thick side plates, re-welded and I got a perfect fit in the fenderwells. I am also using boxed T-Bird uppers and my pinion angle is back to stock.;)  Alan

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and ordered the lowers (CHE) to go w/the uppers. So now I have some tubular upper and lowers for a mustang if anybody is interested(they are brand new ,polyurethane bushings)
NIce car what size wheel and slicks are on it (the car that is staging in your reply)?

I bought the CHE uppers and lowers and i'm very happy with the results.  Hope you enjoy them.
84 TC 302 -5.0L/t5/7.5 locking rear and a 3.45 gear, Edelbrock Intake, Aluminum Heads, Edlebrock 65mm Throttlebody, Edlebrock Cam, 24lb injectors & MAS Air Sensor calibrated via chip,  BBK headers, Catback H pipe, Magnaflow lers :evilgrin:

The Gray Bird has 325-50-15 BFG Drag radials.

It is going to get the "Southside stretch" to the lca.

Then I will move the wheels inward 3/4 inch by using Mustang axles.

Plus it will get lowered 3/4 inch.

How's this::  In 3/4"  -- down 3/4"  -- back 3/4"  ?:D

Why not buy the che thunderbird specific control arms???
