We're selling a T5 bellhousing we took off of an 87/88 Turbo Coupe for $25, plus shipping.

nice FLST. You are? Why Do i need this exactly? I mean, I have a t5 (from an 85 tbird) I am putting in my 92 ranger. Does it fit better? And also, does the bellhousing come with the hydraulic stuff needed to convert my cable clutch t5 to hydraulic?

Um, I saw a Wanted post asking for an 87/88 T5 Bellhousing, so I replied saying we have one. Ours is a hydraulic bell, but it's just a bare bell, no fork or anything. If you already have a T5 w/a bellhousing on it, then you probably don't need ours.

All 4 cyl Fox bodied 5-speeds were cable clutch operated, except for '87-'88 TC's.  As stated above, if you've already got a T5 and bell housing, you can just dump it into you're Ranger and have a cable operated clutch.

If you want hydraulic, you'll need a conversion kit.  This consists of the following parts from an '87-'88 TC:

Bell housing - it's a little different for hydraulic
Pedal assembly
Clutch master cylinder
Slave cylinder and resevoir
Associated lines

hmmm...

My ranger is hydraulic (stock) and the tranny is bad. I am putting a 2.3t and the t-5 tranny from a 85 tbird (cable)... so I do need a conversion kit. Was thinking (thinking) of adding the clutch cable to the ranger... But that means I have to fabricate something, and I really don't want to do that cause I'm not good at it. A conversion kit? where do I get that....just by getting a bellhousing (and its hydraulic internals) from an 87-88 tbird. Dude...thanks for the $25 offer... I'll keep you posted as soon as I know what I am doing/needing. Thank you.
