Electrical Tech / Any ideas on what this box is?
OH! LOL thank you, hum I was not given a code for the keyless entry how could I get one? The amplifier , would that go with the equalizer that does not seem to be hooked up?

Any thoughts on why the sound isn't clear above volume 25?

I could use some help identifying what this is. I think is part of the speaker system in the trunk from what I am told. However no one knows what this box hanging is or the one on the right.

And when the speakers are connected the volume only goes up to 25 before it starts cracking up. I had someone check it but they could not figure it out.

Engine Tech / running problems ???
I had a the same problem, went from boiling to overheating. Turns out the fan wasn't turning anymore and so I replaced the fan clutch and the water pump and it quit.

I checked all the fuses and replace the ones that runs all the lights, but the tail lights work all the time, and the brake lights, it is just the head lights, it's crazy happened when I had the radio put in. I think they touched a wire behind the radio cuz ever since then I have had this problem.

Sidenote:  If you ever take your car to the garage, make sure you get it right.  Don't tell the mechanic, "My car needs a new altimeter."  First, they'll laugh at you ---- and second, they'll start finding all kinds of stuff wrong with your car.  Ummm ... not that I would know this first hand.  :o


LOL... that's funny. The alternator is fine it starts all the time and continues to run.

I will have to check but I think the parking lights work when the dash lights don't. No sometimes I just can not see it the light goes out. The last owner said it just needs cleaning inside the dash but I don't want to take it apart.

Yes it is rough looking but it still runs good. I just replaced the fan clutch and water pump and tuned it up last Dec 09. It needs a new fan but the old one is still working it is just cracked. The cracks were causing the shroud clearance to lessen so I removed the shroud until a new fan is put in. If restoring it needs a paint job if not don't bother.
Everything still works, air but could use a recharge, heat, lights, dash works.  I replaced all four tires with used ones but there is a new one in the trunk without a rim you can have.
I had a radio put in but I don't hear any sound anymore but you can prolly fix that. I also replaced the vacuum line to the Map sensor which helped it immensely run better.

It is a V8 5.0 engine. From my research I gathered it was once called the Blue max. Sometimes crazy things happen like the door lock have not worked since I got it and the other day it was locked and I had to use the other door to get in. No clue what happened there.  The lights and dash lights used to work at the same time but for some reason now they don't. When I turn on the head lights I loose the dash lights. And the speedometer comes and goes, but it is back at the moment :)

hum all my fuses are good, not sure what is causing mine to not work when the headlights are on.
