I think it is a nice looking car and if money was better I would be all over this and the 40k mile '83. But I aint got the money.

It is just a matter of time before these cars go through the roof. I think the TCs, SVOs and Turbo Mustangs are the most under valued cars out there.

Look at the Turbo Buicks from the same era, they are selling for much more as are the Syclones and Typhoons.

Another 5 years maybe 10, we will wish to pick a car like this up for $6k.

Body/Appearance/Interior / Rear Deck Carpeting
What is everyone doing for recarpeting the rear deck? I am about to start the interior and this is one section I have not come up with a solution for.

LEADS on T-Bird/Cougar Stuff For Sale / '85 XR7 - 7300 (yes, HUNDRED) Miles
the whole thing seems a little odd. There is a lot of wear for 7300 miles. Why were the Marchals removed in the first place? The trunk lid insulation looks great but the hood insulation has alot of wear. The seams of the seats, joints of the dash and carpet look much dirtier than I'd like.

I was wanting to bid on this but just not comfortable doing so.

I paid $1100. I know many are being sold for much cheaper but I have been unable to find any here. It was the first day out for the ad and the gentleman didn't want to dicker on price just yet so I took it.
