T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars FOR SALE / FREE: pair of E7 heads, and stock 5.0 HO Mustang exhaust manifolds- Sicklerville, NJ
The heads I think are from a 91 van, E7, but with different sized head bolts for car usage? I'm not entirely clear on that. Looks like a bit of coolant snuck past a head gasket in one of the cylinders, but doesn't seem to have been problematic.
The manifolds came of a 1987 Mustang. Bought them on eBay years ago.
They're just sitting in my garage, and I'd rather someone do something with them instead of sending them for s.
Shipping may well not be worth it - so, probably best if someone local can pick them up in person.
I'm in Sicklerville, NJ 08081

Thanks, I loved that car... I got a black one now I'm getting pretty close to finishing. Trying to raise some more money lol, so buy my things! :p
Hey . . is . . is that the same one I sold you back around Christmas 2008 or early 2009?
Tried to look at your cardomain page to see if it was . . but while I could see the white one, there were no pics visible for "black sunshine" - though I guess maybe that's because I'm not a member?

That's funny because I work at "a large computer company" and when we see wild looking guys wandering the halls, we always figure they are either crazy, homeless, or software developers (or all three). :D
Too funny! And, I'm inclined to agree....

When a man find a woman he wants to marry he says "She is perfect just as she is."
When a woman finds a man she wishes to wed she says "I can make him into exactly what I want."
True story.:hick:
I've always heard it as:
- A man marries a woman expecting that she will NEVER change
- A woman marries a man expecting that he WILL change.
But, gads, how true it was in my case - I wish she would've tried to force me to change years earlier, though, I coulda bailed then!

Hrm, well, my ex-wife did like it. Actually claims to have "seen" me in a dream, from the back, though, and the hair was EXACTLY like it was when she met me (a little thicker and curlier, actually about the same time as the pic with me standing on the big Oldsmobile)
What she didn't like was the fact that, after a certain point, I wouldn't submit to being a doormat. I never realized when we got married that I was going to be expected to do that a few years down the road. But that's a different story entirely, best told on a dark and stormy night, preferably with a lit flashlight being held beneath my face.
Girlfriends/dates since have liked it, presumably, else they probably wouldn't have expressed interest. Oddly one knew about it ahead of time, but then started talking about how I should cut it (on the FIRST date?!)
Job - software developer, though laid off as of Friday. No complaints when you're in the computer programming biz.
And, nope, that's me awake, though having abused some new conditioner I'd never tried before shortly before that pic was taken. You do NOT want to see me when I wake up.... I am *not* a morning person (scared the out of myself one morning when I saw my face in the mirror)

To prove that I don't change much, for those who are curious (or ic, either way), here's one from January 2009.
Yeah, it's a py cellphone pic, because py cellphone cameras have made me lazy.
And yes, that's a bass guitar, but no, I'm not more than barely adequate at playing it.

And, uh, well, if I'm forced to sing "Rock You Like A Hurricane" I can actually manage to mimic the German accent to some extent....
Class of '89 myself, by the way... and in the early 90s the hair got WAY longer....

This is me - yeah, it was taken I think around 2000 or 2001, and digicam technology wasn't as fabulous back then.
I don't look much different except that my hair's not nearly as cooperative as it was then.
I call it - "Me attempting to be all cool-and-rockstar-like"
And failing miserably. By the way, the car I'm standing on was purchased for but $525, and it looked and ran like a $525 car.

Lounge / So.. uhhh... anyone looking for a Software Developer/Software Engineer?
Just got laid off this week. There goes any hunting for vehicular toys that might've been in the works.
So, yeah, I'm actually posting here - why not? Just as good a chance here as anyplace else.
But, the topic line is really what I'm asking? Anyone know of anybody/anyplace that's looking for software developers? I'm in Sicklerville, NJ, and, while a relatively "small" relocation is possible, major relocation is unlikely (although NEVER say never!)
Or if you know anybody who knows anybody who's sure they heard it from their ex-roommate's aunt that there's a place looking, etc (I will refrain from spouting Dark Helmet's line from Spaceballs)
Any and all pointers, leads, or whatever are appreciated.

T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / Possibly wanted... 86-88 SEFI V8 fox, but...
I'm possibly interested in an 86-88 with a V8, T-bird or Cougar, but:
Bench/Split-bench seat
Column shift
The "light duty" stuff (ie: the 7.whatever axle as opposed to the 8.8, light duty suspension, etc) Open diff or trak-lok doesn't matter.
Basically, looking for light weight with the V8. Power windows and seats would be nice, and working AC would probably be a must, but I do NOT want the heavy duty axle, suspension, etc.
To wit, I'm looking for something that rides more like a family car than a sports car. I'm figuring also it'll be a flyweight more or less.

Miscellaneous For Sale/Wanted / Feeler - 1987 Crown Vic Coupe FS soon...
Ok, well, I've recently acquired the car, and shortly thereafter determined that getting a sleeping toddler out of the back of a coupe is an incredibly strange ordeal of acrobatics.
So, I've got this 1987 Ford Crown Victora 2-door Coupe, black with red interior. I'm the second owner, and it's got just under 73K original miles. Excellent condition. Not showroom, but not too far off. Garage kept its whole life, the previous owner passed away not too long ago. Yes, it's the senior-owner stereotype... I know, but it's really true in this case. Have the original manuals, and some maintenance paperwork done by the executor of the estate (owner's son). I purchased it in October 2008 with 70K on the clock.
Needs? As far as I can tell, the tailpipe aft of the ler is going, and that's it. Already converted to R134a.
Pics forthcoming. I'm figuring $2600.
HOWEVER, I'm in the process of acquiring a daily driver (sigh, yes, I've had to bite the bullet and go for a 4-door) that's also a touch smaller, thus easier to shoehorn into my garage.
Any interest? Pics forthcoming.
