Events & Shows / Arthritis Foundation Cruise-In & Carshow 6th & 7th 2012 *Update* May 29,2012
I'll have to check the local scene to see what's going on locally, but if there's nothing happening up here, I will probably be able to make this show. It's only about an hour away, so I won't need a motel, which greatly increases my chances of being there. :) The Cat isn't really "show" worthy, and won't win any prizes, but the more, the merrier, right?

Can't really afford a room, so won't be there the whole weekend, but will try to at least get down there on Saturday.

Man! It sucks that I had to miss this!

We can all blame the State of Ohio for it. They had been messing up my unemployment checks for quite some time. Paying for weeks they shouldn't have been, and then not paying me to make it up and then not stopping to not pay me. I guess it was my fault for being honest and telling them about my surgery and inability to work.

At any rate, when it was time to leave for my bro's house in GA, I didn't have the funds to pay for gas to put in the Cougar down and back. I was planning on swinging by on my way back to Ohio. What really made me mad was that they finally got everything figured out on the Monday after the Saturday that we left and I could have brought the Cougar!

 Buckeye State!! :(

Well, if me and Seacat make it, it will probably just be for Saturday. We'll just leave GA early in the morning and stop by there on the way home.

Me and Seacat might be able to make this. We will be down at my other brothers' house in GA that week, but we might be able to leave a day or two early to make it to this. The only thing about doing that is, we would have to take 3 cars down to GA instead of just 2 so that me and Seacat can have our Cats to stop by with on the way home. :)

I probably wouldn't be doing to the dyno, but it'd be great to hang with y'all again!

Well, to be honest....this sucks. CatJam is the one indulgence I have to look forward to each year. :punchballs:

But I totally understand the reasons. I hope everyone manages to squeeze through these tough times. It WILL get better.

I'll be there! And my brother will probably be bringing his back this year as well.

He thinks he might have a new guy coming with us this year too. He's a salesman at our local Ford dealership.

I was just booking a room at RRI for my brother for CJ09 and thought I'd pass along some information.

I had a room booked since last fall at $82 for Fri. and $90 for Sat., but when I booked my brothers room, the rates had dropped, so I cancelled my other reservation and we both got rooms for $75 each night. So if you have a reservation for RRI that you booked a while ago, you may want to go back and check the rates.

It looked like they still had several rooms available.
